Blood Donor: 350ml for Humanity

What is the Blood Donor? You will recall that 10 oktober ago Himapro hold blood donation program, aren’t you?. Yes, blood donors are donating a little blood to help others through the medical team. As a social human being of course we should help others because we may not be able to live alone, based on that belief, Himapro then held a program that aims to foster this sense of concern for others.

Assisted PMI (Palang Merah Indonesia.red) Surabaya Himapro program is going well. Participants donor not only students but also lecturers. The participants were very enthusiastic to donate blood, many people want to signed up, however not all applicants can donate blood because there are several examination process before becoming donors. Donors must meet several requirements, namely: healthy, weight about 45kilos, not being sick, normal blood pressure and were not taking medication 2 hours before donation.

After donating blood, donors were given vitamin and food supplements to restore their stamina. The program successfully filter out 48 participants who pass a medical examination and can donate blood. For those of you who want to be donors but not qualify as a medical examination, we will be waiting for the next opportunity.
